How WrapBoard works for designers

Escrow-funded wrap design work. No invoicing, no chasing payment, no ghosting losses.

1
Apply as a designer

Click “I'm a designer” on the homepage. Tell us your US state, portfolio link, and your wrap/print experience — real production knowledge is what we vet for.

2
Get vetted

We review every application for US location and genuine wrap/large-format experience, usually within one business day. You can browse the board while you wait.

3
Build your profile

Add a photo, your specialties, preferred software, and portfolio images (Profile page). Set your included revision rounds — shops see all of it when choosing designers.

4
Connect payouts

Payouts page → “Connect payout account.” Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly (WrapBoard never sees them) and handles your 1099s. Required before you can claim.

5
Claim a job

Every job shows the budget already paid into escrow before you lift a pen. Matched invites give best-fit designers first claim for an hour — deliver well and the steady work finds you. Your claim limit starts at 1 and grows with every paid job.

6
Work with the client directly

The brief includes the end client's contact info, and claiming opens a client portal — the client gets a magic link with a chat thread straight to you, your proof uploads (full-size and zoomable), and a design-approval button. Start the conversation before you design: introduce yourself and ask your open questions — the client is emailed the moment you write. Calls and your own process are still yours to run; the portal keeps the record and nudges the client by email when you post something new.

7
Log revision rounds

Each time the client requests a round, hit “Log revision round” on the job — it keeps a visible count against your included rounds and restarts the protection clock.

8
Upload the proof & deliver

Upload a proof to the job (a preview for review — it's the shop's record, not production art) and click “Mark delivered.”

9
Get approved, upload finals, get paid

When the shop approves for production, the escrow releases — you're paid by bank transfer within 7 days — and you upload the clean production files.
